The following libraries are open to the public at limited-capacity.

Entry doors remain locked, so you must knock to enter.

Masks, gloves and temperature taken, is required in every library.

*Gloster – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday – 10:00-4:30; Saturday - 8:00-9:30

*Liberty – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday – 10:30-5:00; Saturday - 10:00-11:30

*Magnolia – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday – 11:00-4:30; Thursday - 1:00-6:30

*Osyka – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 11:00-4:30

*Progress – Monday – Thursday – 1:00-4:30

Service updates will be made regularly here; on our Facebook page--Pike-Amite-Walthall Library System; and as much as possible in the Enterprise-Journal, other local newspapers and radio stations. Branch updates and information may also be found under the “PAWLS Branches” tab.

Requirements for Computer Use:

1. Make appointment on given day/time

2. Be punctual. Computers are for one-hour use.

(If you are late those minutes are taken from your hour limit).

3. If you are unfamiliar with the computer and need some help,

you may bring one person to help while you  are on the computer.

4. You will only be permitted to use the computer or the restroom during your hour limit.

5. If you have children, only one is permitted to accompany you and he/she must

always stay with you. Iyou have a child under five and a baby in a carrier

or stroller, both may come with you.

(A child five or over may use the children’s AWE computer while in the library with you).

Requirements for Entering the Libraries:

1. Temperature taken by one of our staff members

Over 100.4 no entry - (you may have your temp retaken up to twice)

2.The following questions will be asked:

--Have you been out of the USA in the last 30 days?-- 

--Are you having any symptoms of coronavirus?--

--Have you been exposed to anyone with the virus in the last 14 days?--

3. Masks and gloves worn always while inside (masks and gloves available free of charge)

4. Social distance – maintain 6 feet between patrons

5. Follow all set time limit requirements

*Anyone failing to meet these requirements may still use curb service.*


These requirements are in place for the safety of our patrons and our staff and administration. Please be kind and follow them until we may fully open to the public.
